Patrick Leier

Patrick Leier has served education for over 35 years, including 13 as superintendent and six as chief business official. For the past several years he has worked with many school districts large and small helping clients solve facilities, budget and educational programming problems. Patrick received his B.S. degree from Cal Poly and his M.S. from Cal State University Fullerton.

Royce Mitchell

Royce Mitchell has over 30 years experience in education as a teacher, administrator and education sales consultant. Royce’s career encompassed sales, marketing and implementation of education technology, intervention solutions and the establishment of comprehensive virtual schools. Royce’s current role with School Resource Development will be to facilite the program design and implementation of best practice strategies for school systems transitioning to the Common Core Standards. Royce received his B.S. degree from University Louisiana, Lafayette and his M.S. degree from Mount Saint Mary’s College, Los Angeles.

Charles Canosa

Charles Canosa is a dynamic sales executive with proven ability to lead start-up and existing sales organizations and to create customer-focused, solution-selling culture. Charles has over fifteen years experience is sales with top performing national companies. He has a consistent record of top performance in sales and sales management. Demonstrated proficiency in all areas of executive sales leadership – vision to tactical strategies, differentiated solution selling, strategic planning, compensation programs, communication, and reporting structures responsible including profit and loss statements. Charles is bi- literate in English and Spanish; he received his B.S. degree from California Lutheran University.

Marketing and sales executive with 30 years of experience in creating and implementing effective strategic business, marketing communications, public relations and social media, product management, dealer/rep strategy and sales plans for traditional and online education, professional development, and training companies.

Thomas Hinz

Thomas Hinz has over 30 years experience in K12 and higher education and corporate leadership as an education sales consultant, educational sales director and corporate strategic planning director. Thom’s career has consisted of sales, marketing and implementation of education technology, intervention solutions and data assessment tools to drive differentiated instruction including aligning of curriculum with the common core standards. Thom’s current role with SRD is to help school districts make and maintain strategic partnerships and collaborations with the business community, local colleges, and trade/tech schools giving our students the opportunity to enter college prepared and ready to compete in the 21st Century job market! Thom received his B.S. degree from Arizona State University and his M.S. degree from the University of Colorado.

Jamie Hudson

Jamie Hudson, an elementary school teacher for 11 years, demonstration teacher, candidate and educational consultant. Jamie empowers teachers to utilize rigorous technology and print programs, as well as facilitates professional staff development, models classroom demonstrations, and assists with reshaping of learning environments. Jamie has assisted in developing curriculum to correlate with the common core standards and is Common Core certified. Jamie is passionate about helping teachers enhance their classroom environment, integrate technology, and implement the Common Core Standards.

Scott Huffman

Scott Huffman has worked in the field of education for over 15 years in the private, charter, and public setting. He has taught in general and special education classroom from Elementary thru high School. He has worked in a wide range of school districts settings and population such as Los Angeles Unified with over six hundred thousands students, as well small rural districts with less than three thousand students. Additionally Scott has worked as a district program specialist, district coordinator, and principal. He has conducted staff development and trainings at the county, district, and school site level on wide range of topics that include curriculum and instruction strategies for diverse and at-risk learners, integration of technology in the classroom, special education law and best practices, school wide positive behavior supports, successful classroom behavior management strategies, data-driven decision making, effective implementation of the Common Core, and Professional Assault Crisis Training (Pro-Act) to name a few.

Joseph Jaramillo

Joseph Jaramillo is a technology consultant living in Rolling Hills Estates, CA with his wife Christina and daughter Madeline. Joseph has worked in K-12 education for over 15 years as a program evaluator, grant writer, webmaster and technology specialist for a number of school districts throughout Southern California. Joseph received a BA from Pomona College and an MA from Baylor University.

Shirley Johnson

Shirley Johnson, BA, MA, Administrative Credential, and is now the President of EduPower. She is a retired teacher of the San Diego Unified School District. She was a National Consultant for Simon and Schuster and other major publishers and at present consults to School District Curriculum and Instructional Educators. Shirley has been an author of many Educational Articles and Supplemental Teaching Instructional Curriculum Programs, as well as having written extensive Elementary Curriculum to supplement textbook instruction. She has a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and has been a Consultant and Presenter to many School Districts. Her most recent work has been focused on Common Core Standards and Technology Application in the Classroom. She has won Awards for her work with Education.

Jessica Lingenfelter

Jessica Lingenfelter has been a professional educator since 1997. She has taught at the high school and university levels. Her recent experience has encompassed “on-line” teaching and learning delivery systems. Jessica is currently pursing her PhD at Claremont Graduate University. She received her M.Ed at University of La Verne and her B.A. from the University of Arizona.

Tom Nemat

Tahamtan T. Nematbakhsh (“Tom Nemat”) is the founder and principal of the Law Firm of Tom Nemat, A Professional Law Corporation. Tom’s practice areas include corporate transactions, real estate transactions, estate planning, and asset protection. He has formed hundreds of corporations and LLCs, and has advised and consulted both start-up companies and seasoned corporations. In addition to representing business entities, Tom works closely with individuals and business owners in the areas of estate planning and business succession planning.

Prior to following his entrepreneurial spirit and forming his own firm, Tom was an attorney in the Wealth Strategies Counsel group at Bohm, Matsen, Kegel & Aguilera, LLP. At Bohm, Matsen, LLP, he was a protégé of Jeffrey R. Matsen, the managing partner and one of the leading estate planning and business transactional attorneys throughout the United States.

Tom is a graduate of the UC Berkeley where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business. At Berkeley, he was involved in several consulting and entrepreneurial activities in conjunction with his business courses, including Technology Entrepreneurship and Strategic Planning. Tom earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. At Loyola, Tom focused on corporate law, including Financing the Start-Up and Venture Financing. During law school, Tom worked full time as a law clerk at Bohm, Matsen.

Ben Casados

Ben Casados has wide experience in education as a teacher, technology implementation, management and entrepreneur. He served as a space science specialist with NASA Headquarters, ann served for ten years as the director of educational services for NASA/Caltech Laboratory. Pasadena, CA. He was one of the founders of Optical Data Corporation the company that introduced laser disc technology into education by having the first statewide tech adoption in the state of Texas. He served as the Executive Director of the Hughes Electronics Galaxy Classroom the first interactive science and language arts television programs delivered nationwide by DirecTV.

Ben was a founding board member and current board chairman of the California Virtual Education Partners, a non profit entity that operates five 6 -12 online schools in California.
Governor Dukemajian appointed Ben to the California Educational Commission, The California Senate appointed him to the California Education Technology Council. He is a member of various professional organizations.
He is the author of the popular www.youaskandy.com a multi-discipline website to encourage student Internet research.
